Dance Like Nobody’s Watching. Our Inner Critic

The shame and blockage that we sometimes suffer comes from our most critical part. Although it seems that what we fear most is the opinion of others, the first battle is with our own.

Dance like nobody's watching. Our inner critic

Dance as if no one was watching… if we imagined that scene we would see images of ourselves that probably do not correspond to the way we really see ourselves. With this expression I want to refer to letting out our most flexible, craziest part, the one that is authentic and that does not act under the yoke of “What are others thinking when they see me?” It is that part of us that enjoys and gives itself permission to do so, to do what feels right and what comes out when listening to a song or melody.

In the vast majority of cases we are more aware of how we will be seen from the outside or what others will think and in reality the first judgment we have to deal with is our own. We project outside what we have already told ourselves inside, that is, The judgment is not so much what others will or will not make but what we have already made of ourselves this will be the one that does not allow you to “dance” however you feel, however you feel like it, and when I mean dancing it is not something that is done only on the dance floor. Dancing we dance every day, in our life, with our relationships, in our work.
