Being up to date with current events is a tremendously automatic act, which could respond to the need to be informed of what is happening in the world Millions of people, regardless of the country in which they reside, consult, several times during the same day, the news that the media provides.
In them, events and circumstances that are occurring around the globe are exposed in a raw, morbid and dramatic way. Regardless of where it’s happening, if it’s rugged enough, it will echo in your ears. Have you ever questioned what having all this information does for you and, at the same time, the impact it has on your life?
The call of morbid news
When you watch the program in which they show you what is supposed to be the most relevant thing that has happened on the planet, and you see that 9 out of 10 are calamities and unpleasant events of all kinds, which only reflect the dark side of life and of the human being. When you subject yourself to this negative influence, your mind receives subliminal messages such as :
• Life is a horrible place to live. • People are terrible. • Everything that happens is misfortunes.
Starting because the name of events is totally out of place. It should be called, to warn you: “The dramas of today”, or “The catastrophes of the world”, which would be much more real names. Let’s see the neurological explanation why countless individuals continue to fall into the trap of watching “The Misfortunes of the Day.” The reason is the same as when a traffic accident occurs, when people pass by it, we slow down and stare, sometimes forming traffic jams and huge lines of cars just to see what has happened.
In general, it is mistakenly thought that we do this out of morbidity, to see if there is blood or things that are truly out of the ordinary. The truth is that science today knows that when there is an accident and you slow down with the car, as well as the majority of people in front and behind you, you do it with a single, very useful, unconscious intention. Observe all the details to see, associate and discern what happened with a single and vital goal: that this does not happen to me or my family, and it makes sense
Well, exactly the same thing happens with the news. When you look at it, you are really trying to see, without realizing it, all the bad things that happen in order to somehow integrate a way to avoid it so that it doesn’t happen to you. What happens with this is that in such a short time you see so many things that are unlikely to happen to you or any member of your tribe, that your brain is not able to digest it all. So this garbage stays inside you, permeates you, conditions you and remains engraved in you. And with this you get nothing useful. We develop this in the complete series of 7 books “Open Your Eyes”.
Free our mind
That is why if they began to give pleasant and positive news about events that show the goodness of the human race, the ability to improve, the great creativity we have, etc., the audience would quickly decrease because for the reptilian brain (in charge of survival) would not really help him survive and, therefore, would not appeal to him as much.
The truth is that the probability of an average person, like you and me, having a bomb fall on us, or being hit by a train, or having our plane hijacked is possibly 1 in 1 billion, if not more. So it’s up to you to continue receiving that flow of darkness and skewed focus, if you were still seeing it. Remember that being informed about what is happening in the world is basic, but you can be selective and go on an information diet, according to your own and sole discretion. In just a few days you will notice the change.
If you want to know about the macroeconomic world, select web portals that really speak to you in a neutral way, observing both the constructive part (which talks about growth and possibilities) and the part that sets economic market trends. If you want to inform yourself and know about health issues, or any other area, you already know what to do: look for information. Today we have plenty! Take responsibility for selecting your own books, authors that really give you confidence, videos on YouTube, in-person conferences, courses. And this will configure your new free and real “you”. Stop allowing others to put what interests them into your head.
