Taking this theme as a reference, responsible adults could reflect a life without any incentive that is meaningless. On the other hand, the presence of mental health disorders such as depression are conditions for the fears that exist in a human being.
  • Consumption of toxic substances: Although it is not usually a common cause, repeated drug intake should not be underestimated. It should be noted that these substances produce alterations in perception, attention and daily concentration. • Psychological therapy: Going to a mental health professional helps you cope with situations of stress and/or anxiety in a more pleasant way. On the other hand, psychological therapy provides the necessary tools to dissuade fears of death. Among the short-term therapies, the approach to the emotions, thoughts and behaviors that give rise to the most relevant symptoms stands out. After a short period of sessions, the person is able to live their life without the intensity of the worries that haunt them. On the other hand, long-term therapies place special emphasis on remembering situations from the past that caused fear. From this, it is possible to adopt other alternatives in those moments of uncertainty that arise.
  • Mindfulness: consists of a psychotherapeutic technique that makes use of breathing and concentration on the present. To put it into practice, mindfulness requires a relaxed environment that is away from distracting stimuli. The objective is to contemplate the fear of death as a thought that loses its value.
